The Best AI Meeting Assistants for Multiple Languages
Language counts on vendor websites range from six to one hundred and forty. The number matters less than whether your languages work well, and whether the tool copes when people switch mid-sentence.

The best AI meeting assistant for multilingual teams in 2026 is Fellow, which transcribes in 100+ languages and pairs that with strong team features and a no-training policy. MacWhisper handles 100 languages entirely on a Mac. Circleback and Jamie both cover around 100 languages, Jamie with EU-hosted processing. TwinMind claims the widest coverage at 140+. For the 30-plus most common business languages, Hedy is also a strong choice and can process them on-device.
Vendor language counts are self-reported and measure different things: some count dialects, some count languages supported for transcription but not summaries, and quality falls off sharply outside the major languages for every tool. We ranked on published coverage, how the tool handles a meeting in more than one language, and our overall scores for privacy and analysis quality. If your team works mainly in English plus one or two major European or Asian languages, nearly every tool on our full rankings will do; this page is for teams that need more.
Fellow
CloudPrivacy-forward AI meeting assistant with botless recording and an AI Chief of Staff
A privacy-forward AI meeting assistant that captures meetings without a bot and surfaces answers across all of them through its Ask Fellow agent.
MacWhisper
On-DeviceLocal transcription app for Mac and iOS with on-device Whisper and Parakeet models
A fast, private transcriber that has grown toward a lightweight meeting assistant for Apple users, though it still stops short of real collaboration or cross-meeting intelligence.

CloudMeeting notes with or without a bot, unusually clean action items, and deep automation hooks
One of the best-executed notetakers in the mid-market, with excellent transcription and action items, and now a real free plan and a $15 entry price to prove it on.
Jamie
CloudA bot-free, EU-hosted notetaker built for GDPR-first teams who don't need live notes
A privacy-minded, bot-free notetaker with genuine EU data residency and clean compliance credentials, held back by an entirely post-meeting design with no live transcription.

CloudAI second brain that captures and remembers your conversations
A fast-improving second-brain app with strong transcription and bot-free capture on phone and desktop, held back mainly by cloud-dependent AI and thin integrations.

What to Test Before You Commit
Test your actual languages, with your actual accents. A tool that lists 100 languages may be excellent in Spanish and barely usable in Tagalog. Record a real meeting in each language your team uses, including the speakers with the strongest accents, and read the transcript before trusting the summary. Summaries are only as good as the transcript underneath them, and errors in names and numbers are the ones that cause damage.
Mixed-language meetings are the hard case. Many international teams switch between languages in the same call. Some tools detect the language once at the start and stick with it; others re-detect as people speak. Gemini in Meet, for example, takes notes in one of eight languages at a time. If code-switching is normal for your team, make it part of your trial, and expect every tool to do worse than in a single-language meeting.
Language coverage does not override privacy. Multilingual teams are often international teams, which means GDPR and data residency come with the territory. Jamie processes in Germany and deletes audio after transcription, Hedy offers EU residency or on-device processing for its 30+ languages, and MacWhisper never sends audio anywhere. Our GDPR guide covers residency in detail.
